Position Overview: We’re seeking a forward-thinking and tech-savvy leader to serve as our Technology & Digital Strategy Chair on the Board of Directors. This role is essential to strengthening our digital infrastructure, enhancing virtual engagement, and ensuring our systems support growth and innovation.
Commitment
- Attend 12 virtual board meetings per year (1 hour each)
- Contribute $30/month in board dues
- Choose your term: 1 year, 2 years, or 3 years
- Lead committee work and collaborate across teams
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and recommend digital tools for communication, programming, and data management
- Support virtual programming and online engagement strategies
- Ensure cybersecurity and data protection across platforms
- Collaborate with Marketing and Online Fundraising Chairs to optimize digital outreach
- Advise on technology needs for events, chapter expansion, and internal operations
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced in IT, digital strategy, or nonprofit tech infrastructure
- Skilled in platform selection, integration, and user experience
- Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and impact
- Committed to the mission and vision of Bettered, Not Broken
