Role: Manager, Software Engineering – Vulnerability Coverage Team

Purpose:

Lead the Vulnerability Coverage team to deliver accurate and reliable vulnerability content for customers, drive automation improvements, and manage response to emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor software engineers, fostering skill growth and performance.
• Oversee project planning, task prioritization, and cross-functional deliverables.
• Drive quality improvements in testing, monitoring, and alerting.
• Collaborate with Product Management, UX, and other engineering teams on roadmap alignment and customer-focused solutions.
• Respond quickly to emerging security vulnerabilities and maintain high standards of accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2–3 years of experience managing software engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and ability to read code/design documents.
• Project/program management skills for high-impact initiatives.
• Customer-centric mindset and strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Technical background (BEng, BSc, or similar).
• Knowledge of the security landscape (a plus).
