Role: Software Engineer

About the Team:

Join the Microsoft Copilot Studio – Agent Lifecycle & Admin Experiences team, part of the Business & Industry Copilots group that powers Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and AI-driven agents. The team builds scalable, secure, and distributed Azure-based microservices enabling enterprises to create and manage AI copilots with ease.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze requirements with stakeholders.
• Contribute to design documents, coding, testing, and implementation.
• Write and maintain high-quality, reusable code for features/services.
• Break down work into tasks and provide estimates (with guidance).
• Act as Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for monitoring systems and troubleshooting issues.
• Stay current with technologies to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s (2+ yrs exp) or Master’s (1+ yrs exp) in CS or related field.
• Proficiency in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Must pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire and every 2 years.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bonus: Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP; passion for engineering excellence and software quality.
