Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining our DevOps processes, tools, and infrastructure. This role requires a strong background in software development, system administration, and automation. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to streamline our development and deployment processes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability of our systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for multiple projects.

2. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.

3. Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.

4. Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

5. Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for deployment in cloud environments.

6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and production incidents.

7. Ensure security best practices are implemented across the infrastructure and applications.

8. Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.

9. Participate in on-call rotation for handling critical incidents and outages.

10. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

2. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in a fast-paced environment.

3. Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.

4. Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

5. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

6. Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.

7. Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

8. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.

9. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

10. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment..
