Full job description

Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (Full-Stack).

Experience: 5–8 years

Location: Remote

Work Hours: US Working Hours (Weekends on Rotation Basis)

UpSmart Solutions is a growing IT services company providing innovative technology solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with full-stack expertise to ensure robust operations, rapid issue resolution, and optimal user experience for our high-traffic e-commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Health & Performance:
• Proactively monitor and maintain high availability, performance, and scalability of the e-commerce website.

• Rapid Incident Resolution:
• Act as the first responder for production incidents; swiftly identify root causes, implement fixes, and restore services with minimal downtime.

• System Troubleshooting:
• Leverage expertise in Java and Node.js, along with familiarity in microservices, databases, and infrastructure layers to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.

• Code Review & Optimization:
• Review code regularly, suggest architectural improvements, and implement performance optimizations to enhance system stability and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on Java and Node.js.

• Strong experience in monitoring and incident management in production environments.

• Hands-on knowledge of web performance optimization, microservice architecture, and scalable systems.

• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills across the stack (frontend, backend, database, and infrastructure).

• Familiarity with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar is a plus.

• Strong communication skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
